3 Eggs
2 Cups Sugar
1½ Cup OIl
3 Cups Self Rising Flour
2 Tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp. Salt
2 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
4 Cups apples finely chopped

Directions:

Mix and pour into bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Powdered Sugar Glaze:
1/4 Cup Melted Butter
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 Tsp. Lemon Juice

Mix and spread on cake while warm.

We had apple trees and pecan trees in our back yard on Stallings Lane. I always thought this cake was so much work. We would pick the apples and sit on the back patio to peel and chop the apples. If the squirrels left us any of the pecans, Ken and Dad would crack and shell the pecans and we would use pecans in place of walnuts.

This is one of those family memories that make this recipe special!
