4 qt. sliced apples
1 qt. water
2 lb. brown sugar
1 qt. sweet cider
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Boil apples in water until soft. Press through food mill to remove skins and cores. Continue to boil, stirring constantly in figure 8 to prevent burning. When thick, add spices and cook until thick enough to spread. Seal in sterilized jars.
