1 lb. tomatoes
1 lb. sugar
4 oz. stick cinnamon

1 lemon or orange, sliced, quartered and seeds removed

Directions:
Directions:
Scald and skin tomatoes. Cover tomatoes with sugar and let them stand for 12 hours. Boil until syrup falls from a spoon in heavy drops. Then add lemon or orange and the cinnamon. Cook preserves until they are thick, then pour into sterilized jars and seal.
