1 (6 oz) pkg. chocolate chips
½ cup butter
1 ⅓ cups evaporated milk
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chips and butter over low hear, stirring occasionally.

Add sugar and milk, blending well. Bring to a boil and cook about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add vanilla. Serve warm, Makes 2 ⅔ cups of sauce.

For frosting: cool 2 cups of sauce, add 1 ¼ cups sifted powdered sugar, blending well. Chill until thickened. Makes enough for 2 (8 in.) cake layers.
