1 ½ cups gingersnap cookie crumbs (about 32 cookies)
¼ cup margarine or butter, melted
3 (8 oz) pkg, cream cheese, softened
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (16 oz) can pumpkin ( 2 cups)
3 TB orange flavored liqueur or orange juice
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
¼ tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 300º F.

Combine crumbs and margarine; press firmly on bottom and halfway up the side of a 9" spring-form pan.

In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Beat in remaining ingredients.

Pour into pan, Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes until set.

Cool. Chill.

Garnish (lemon peel on top of whipped cream around the sides, etc.) Refrigerate leftovers.
