1 Can Mixed Peas & Carrots or 1½ C. Mixed Vegetables
2 C. Cooked Chicken or Turkey, chopped
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup

1 C. Flour
2½ tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Sugar
4½ tsp. Shortening or Margarine
½ C. Milk or Chicken Broth
1 Egg, beaten
or
1 C. Bisquick + ½C Milk or Chicken Broth + 1 Egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Stir together vegetables, chicken and cream soup in a 9 in. square pan (or 2qt/2L casserole dish). In a separate bowl sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly then mix in milk and egg until blended. Pour over chicken mixture and bake 30-35 mins. or until topping is golden brown.
