2 - 1 Ounce Unsweetened Chocolate Grated
⅔ Cup Milk Scalded
2 Cups Sugar
1 Tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
2 Tbsp. Butter
1 Tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt Chocolate in Milk. Add sugar and corn syrup, stirring until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil; Cover and Cook 3 minutes. Uncover and cook to soft-ball stage (236º) stirring frequently. Remove from heat; add butter and cool to lukewarm (110º) without stirring. Add vanilla and beat vigorously until very thick and no longer glossy. Quickly spread in greased pan. When firm cut in squares.

1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts may be added if desired

1/2 Cup cocoa may be substituted for chocolate, however increase butter to 3 Tbsp.
