1 cup sugar
½ butter (no substitutes)
½ cup light Karo syrup
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. vanilla
4 quarts popped popcorn OR 2 bags (3.5 oz) buttered microwave popcorn, popped

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first five ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Place popped popcorn on a large, greased baking sheet with sides. Pour syrup mixture over popcorn and stir gently to coat.

Bake in a 250º F oven for 1 hour, stirring carefully every 15 minutes.

Cool and break into smaller pieces if needed. Enjoy!
