1 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 medium onion, sliced
1 can (16 ounces) whole tomatoes with liquid, chopped
1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans, drained
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) beef broth
1·1/2 cups water
2 medium zucchini, cut Into 1/4-inch slices
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a 3-qt. saucepan, cook sausage and onion; drain fat. Stir in tomatoes, beans, broth, water, zucchini and ba­sil. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until the zucchini is tender. Sprinkle each serving with cheese. Yield: 6-8 servings (2 qts.).
