Sesame-Seed Sauce, see below
1 lb Swiss chard or other cooking greens
Water
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste



Sesame-Seed Sauce:
1/2 cup sesame-seed paste (tahini paste)
Juice of 2 lemons (6 tablespoons)
2 garlic cloves, crushed
salt to taste
water for thinning

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare Sesame-Seed Sauce. Set aside. Trim and rinse greens. Cut into l-inch lengths. Pour water 1 inch deep into a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add cut greens, salt and pepper. Reduce heat. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes. Drain. Cool. Pour Sesame-Seed Sauce over greens
before serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Sesame-Seed Sauce:
Combine sesame-seed paste, lemon juice, garlic and ·salt In a small bowl. Mix until blended. Add
water for desired consistency. Use about 2 tablespoons water for a .medium sauce or 1/4 cup water for a thin sauce. Makes about 2/3 cup.
