Ingredients:  
1. Scald 1 cup milk. Cool to lukewarm.

2. Combine 4 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. grated lemon peel.

3. Cut in 2 sticks Fleishman's margarine until like coarse meal.

4. Dissolve 1 pkg. dry yeast in 11/4 cup warm water.

5. To flour mixture, add yeast, lukewarm milk and 2 beaten eggs. Combine lightly. Cover dough tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to 2 days)

FILLING;

1. Combine 1 1/2 cups finely chopped fresh cranberries and 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup raisins, 1/3 cup chopped pecans, 1/3 cup honey and 1 1/2 tsp. graded orange peel in pan.

2. Cook mixture over medium heat until it boils, stirring constantly. Cook for 5 minutes. Cool before using.

1. Separate dough in two equal parts. Roll each out into rectangle about 12 x 15".

2. Spread half of cranberry mixture over dough. Fold dough over twice and seal edges. Cut in about 14 strips. Take each strip and twist, turning one end to form shape of candy cane.

3. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for about 12 minutes at 400 degrees.

4. Frost with powdered sugar icing.
