1½ Cups Shortening
3 Eggs
1½ Cup Sugar
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
½ Cup Buttermilk
3 Bananas
¾ Cup Chopped Nuts

Icing:
½ Stick Butter Melted
1 Box Powdered Sugar
2 Bananas
Chopped Pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Pour in a 9 x 13 Cake Pan. Bake at 350º for 20 - 25 minutes. Ice Cake.

Mom and I made a quick version of this cake. 1 Banana Cake Mix, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup skim milk, 1/2 cup oil, 3 bananas and 3/4 cup chopped pecans.
