1 can 18oz Cantadina Tomato Paste
1 large onion
1 clove garlic
⅓ c sugar
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
½ tsp thyme
1 lb super lean beef
1 egg
1/4 c skim milk
1 slice bread
salt & pepper to taste
spaghetti (¼ lb per person)

Directions:
In large kettle or pan, add tomato paste and 3 cans of water, add onions, garlic, sugar and spices, bring to a boil. Simmer for 45 minutes.

Meatballs: Soak bread crumbs in milk, add meat, onions, egg and salt and pepper. Form into balls. Heat skillet will canola oil. Add meat balls. Brown on all sides. When browned add beef consomme to pan. Simmer about 20 minutes.
