Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mama Greer got this recipe from her mother and contributed it to the Vawter Family Cookbook, which she gave to each granddaughter. Known for her fresh Southern cooking and never taking short cuts, Mama gave us all a shock one year when we were served this pie made with frozen pie shells. Oops, she forgot to take the paper lining out of the pie shell before baking! Woo hoo (Mama's classic response to a good meal).
