"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We grew up children eating at the Officer's club and fine restaurants all over the world, but at home things were a little different. While Granny was an accomplished artist, cooking was not her forte. We most often ate casseroles and funny buns. This dish was Granny's fanciest, and served only when we had company (and at Shay and Patsy's rehearsal dinner).
