1/4 c sugar 1/2 c brown sugar
1 c shortening 2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla 2 c flour
1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda
1 c cut up gum drops 1/2 c chopped pecans
Directions:

Cream together 1st 5 ingredients
Add and mix well the next 3 ingredients
Stir in the last 2 ingredients
Drop by spoonful on ungreased cookie sheet
Top with gum drop
Bake 350º 15 min
