Green Beans

Using Canned Beans:

Add water to cover beans in sauce pan.
Add salt and pepper.
1 T vegetable oil per 2 cans of beans.
Either a small chopped onion or 2 t onion powder per 2 cans


If you have fresh beans you have to boil longer until they are tender.









Black Eyed Peas


If using Canned Peas:

Just add salt and pepper to taste.




If you have fresh Peas you need to boil longer and add either a ham bone or chunks of ham meat to the pot while its cooking.

You can freeze both green beans and peas both just make sure to freeze with the juices.
