4 med red potatoes**
6 slices bacon
2 Tbl flour
1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper 1 c water
1/2 c vinegar
1/2 tsp celery seed [I prefer celery flakes]
small onion, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatos until firm. Cool, peel & slice, place into bowl or slow cooker.
Fry bacon, can be slice into small pieces, before frying or break up after browning crisp.
Drain bacon, reserving some of the drippings.
Saute onion until tender - in reserved drippings.
Stir into drippings — flour, sugar, salt, celery flakes & pepper until smooth.
Gradually add water & vinegar til smooth & thickened.
Pour over potatoes, stir gently adding bacon bits.
Place slow cooker on low or keep warm until ready to serve.
Can be refrigerated until ready to serve & then heat before serving
