1/2 c Crisco 1 stick margarine
3 c sugar 3 c flour 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 c milk 5 eggs
1 tsp lemon extract 1 tsp vanilla
Food coloring: yellow/green/red [use as much & colors you want]

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening & butter together: add sugar, than eggs.
Sift flour & baking powder together and add to batter alternatly with milk
Add flavoring
Mix well
Separate batter into 3 bowls
Color each with desired color
Grease & flour large tube pan [bundt pan]
Pour colored batter alternately in pan; set in cold oven & set at 375º for 10 min,
then reduce heat to 350º & bake for 1 hr 10 min.

This is a very good pound cake At Christmas I use Red & Green food coloring for 2 parts & and in spring I used green & pink for 2parts. You can use whatever colors you want

This cake is very good.
