Burger

- 1 pound lean organic ground chicken
- 1 organic egg, slightly beaten
- 1 sweet onion, minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 cup sweet red pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh sweet ripe mango(trust me on this! but it is optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh italian leaf parsley, minced
- 2 tablespoons of real mayonnaise
- 1 crushed chili(optional)
- 2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of panko bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste

Condiments

- 4 brioche style burger buns
- 4 cheese slices (the choice is yours, but keep it real)
- fresh avocado slices
- cooked crisp bacon slices
- sliced sweet red onion

Directions:
Directions:
- mix all burger ingredients, using only 1 tablespoon of the oil, and form into 4 balls.

- flatten each ball into a nice patty

- in nonstick skillet pan, fry the patties in 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil( you can use cooking spray if you wish)

- cook about 6 minutes on each side


- serve the patties on warmed brioche style buns and top with all your favorite condiments

- accompany with sweet potato fries or my veggie poutine

Ahhhh the burger! so many different recipies but I created this one out of inspiration from my herb garden, particularly the “cilantro”

some might say it’s an aquired taste; I say it’s a staple flavour in all tropical dishes.
