Directions:
Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl or in a stand mixer fitted with the hook attachment. Mix dough until it comes together and , if mixing by hand, turn the dough out onto a work surface and knead until smooth. about 5 mins. If using a mixer, knead dough for 3 mins.

Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled in size, about 90 mins.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface and roll it out into a square about 12 in. across. Brush surface of dough with melted butter. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 9 squares then cut each square in half, to make 18 rectangles.

Brush a muffin tin with melted butter. Twist each piece of dough around once and press in the muffin tin. Cover the tin loosely with plastic wrap and let rise for 30 mins.

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Unwrap the rolls and bake for 15 -20 mins, or until they are golden brown.

Personal Notes:
Courtesy of Anna Olson, these rolls taste similar to croissants and are best served warm. They can be re-heated for 5 mins in a 300ºF oven.
