- 30 large and fresh green or white asparagus (ends cut off)
- 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon of salt

preheat oven to 375

- line a baking sheet with parchment paper

- in small bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, extra virgin olive oil and salt

- place asparagus in a row on baking sheet and drizzle balsamic mixture to coat each one

- bake for 15 minutes

- let cool 10 minutes and place on serving platter

- sprinkle with fresh lemon zest and drizzle lemon juice over top
