1 ½ cup flour
1 Tsp Soda
1 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Shortening
¾ Cup Brown Sugar
¾ Cup White Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 TBSP Hot water
1 Cup Chopped nuts
2 Cups Quick cook oats
1 large bag Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º
Cream Shortening & sugar until fluffy.
Sift flour, soda & salt,
Combine the sugar mixture with the flour mixture.
Add eggs, vanilla, water, mix well.
Fold in chopped nuts, quick oats and chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake for 8minutes.
