1½ C Cake Flour
1 C Sugar
3 Tbs Unsweetened Cocoa
1 t Baking soda
½ t Salt
6 Tbs Melted shortening or salad oil
1Tbs White vinegar
1 t Vanilla
1 C Cold water
Directions:
Directions:
* Sift flour, measure, then sift again with sugar, cocoa , baking soda and salt into uncreased 10 inch baking pan

*Make 3 depressions:

* 1 Salad oil
* 1 Vinegar
* 1 Vanilla

* Pour cold water over all and mix with a fork, DON'T BEAT

* Bake @ 350º for 30 minutes

* Cool on rack
