2 sticks butter
2 c flour
8 oz grated sharp cheddar cheese
¼ t red pepper
½ t salt
2 c Rice Krispies

Directions:
Let cheese and butter soften at room temperature, then mix in other ingredients in order given. Pinch off small pieces and roll into balls. Flatten crossways with a fork dipped in flour to prevent sticking. Place on ungreased cookie sheet not too close together. Bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes, or until they begin to brown slightly.
