5 cups of sugar
1 cup of light corn syrup
1 cup of water
3 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup a pecans or English walnuts
½ cup chopped black walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff. Cook sugar syrup and water to soft ball stage. Add half of the hot mixture to egg whites and beat until cool.
Let remaining syrup cool on the toilet forms hard ball in cold water. Add to egg whites and beat until smooth. Then add vanilla and nuts for into a buttered pan and spread 1 inch thick. Now cut into squares
