3 c. flour
1¼ c. shortening (¼ can be margarine)
1 egg
5 tbsp. water = ¼ c.
1 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp. salt

1. Mix flour & shortening well with knife
2. Mix in remaining ingredients
3. Roll into 4 equal balls
4. When ready to bake pies, roll out to pie tin size

*stores well in refrigerator for 1 week wrapped in plastic
