2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. white sugar
1 cup sour cream
3 cans of kitchen cut green beans
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 {2.8oz} can or 1-1/3 cup French fried onion rings

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in the salt, sugar, and sour cream. Add green beans, and stir to coat.

Transfer the mixture to a 2-1/2 casserole dish. Spread shredded cheese over the top. Sprinkle fried onions over the cheese.

Bake covered for 15 minutes. Remove cover and continue cooking for 15 mins. or until the top is golden and cheese is bubbly.

Slow cooker

Transfer mixture to slow cooker, cover with cheese and cook on low for 4 hours. Top with baked onion rings, serve.
