2 lb. stew meat
2 tbsp. olive oil
4 C. water
1 med. onion
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 potatoes, bite-sized pieces
4 carrots, bite-sized pieces
2 onions, cut
1 C catsup
1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed and drained

Directions:
Directions:
In large Dutch oven, brown meat in oil. Add water, 1 medium onion, salt, Worcestershire and pepper. Cover, simmer for 45 minutes. Add potatoes, carrots, onions and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in catsup and peas, cover and simmer for 20 minutes longer. You may thicken, if desired, with cornstarch, or arrowroot flour.

You can make this with leftover roast. I think it tastes even better! Just add meat later.
This recipe was originally on a Heinz catsup bottle in the 1980s. It has been a family favorite all these years.
