8 ounce of cream cheese
1/3 cup of powdered sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 - 8 ounce cans of refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup of cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Beat cream cheese, egg yolk, powder sugar and vanilla until smooth. Remove rolls from cans. On cookie sheet, unroll dough into long rectangles. Overlap long sides; firmly press perforations and edges to seal. spread cream cheese mixture down the center of the dough. Top with pie filling. Make cuts 1 inch apart on each side of rectangle just to the edge of the filling. To give a braided look, twist strips of dough at an angle half way across filling with edges of strips just slightly overlapping, alternating from side to side. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. . Serve cool.
