8 - 10 oranges wash well if you can't get organic which I can never find
1.75 liter bottle of Brandy
1 cup water
2 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Peel oranges with a vegetable peeler being careful not to get any white part. Put in 2 quart glass jar. Pour in Brandy. Stir gently. Cover jar and store in a cool dry place for 4 weeks stirring once a week.
After 4 weeks stir together water and sugar in saucepan over medium high heat until sugar dissolves. Cool completely. Strain orange peels out of Brandy. Stir in sugar mixture. Strain through coffee filter 2 - 4 more times until clear. Transfer to bottles. Refrigerate before serving.
