3 large eggs
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup dark corn syrup
2 T. unsalted butter, melted
1-1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups pecan halves
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
Pastry for 9 inch crust

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk together eggs, corn syrup, sugar melted butter, salt and vanilla. Spread pecans in crust; pour egg mixture on top of nuts. Bake until crust is golden brown and filling is set; 350ºF for 60 to 70 minutes. Loosely cover with foil to prevent excess browning, if necessary. Cool completely on wire rack. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired. Store in airtight container up to 3 days.
