2 cups butter, melted
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
5 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 cups chocolate chips
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding (dry)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.
In a large bowl, whisk together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until evenly mixed and light in color.
Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
Mix in dry pkg. instant vanilla pudding. (This will keep the cookie soft and chewy).
Add flour and baking soda, folding mixture until it forms a smooth dough.
Fold in choc chips and mix.
Using ice cream scoop place cookies on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12 minutes.

Marc and Brian always made fun of my cookies when they were growing up as they were always hard as rocks. I have to admit they were. As my dad would have said, "they are dunkers". Anyway, I started putting the instant pudding in them and now they are soft and chewy.
