Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef
1 small onion chopped
1 can stewed tomatoes chopped
1/2 tsp salt
pepper
dried oregano as desired (optional - we never had oregano in the house when we were growing up so it wasn't in the original recipe)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional - Mom didn't use this, but I like the flavor it adds)
Cooked macaroni

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the ground beef and onion then pour off any grease. Add remaining ingredients except macaroni and simmer 15 - 20 minutes. Then stir in as much macaroni as you want. Add a little V8 or tomato juice if you want more moisture. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning as desired.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Like the recipe above, most of Mom's recipes didn't have exact ingredients. Cooking was done by taste and the ingredients on hand. In this recipe, the amount of macaroni depended on how many people were there for dinner.
