4 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Pre-heat over to 375º line baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowe, whisk together flour, baking soda and cream of tarter. Set aside.
3. Cream butter, oil and sugars until light and fluffy, scraping as necessary.
4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing until just combined. Add vanilla and mix until combined.
5. Add flour, scraping sides as necessary.
6. Drop dough two tablespoons each and place 2 inches apart.
7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, just until the edges begin to darken.
8. Let cool.

These are fast and easy and never fail. Norm would take these to coffee at the coffee shop and fellows really liked them. I also would make these for "Buddy", our black lab as she loved her cookies.
