2 cups raisin
1 cup water
1 cup oil
1 ½ cups sugar
2 egg -- beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together raisins and 1 cup water until all water is absorbed. Cool completely.

Beat together oil and sugar, add beaten eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, soda and salt. Add to oil mixture. Mix in raisins. Form into balls. Roll in granulated sugar (shake off). Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 " apart.

Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 350º oven.
