3 sticks softened salted butter (1 ½ cups)
2 cups sugar
3 eggs (Room temperature)
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour ( sifted)
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups finely chopped fresh apples
1 ½ cups chopped pecans
1 cup raisins
1 cup coconut

Preheat oven to 350º. Prepare Bundt or tube pan with Baker’s Joy or flour and butter. Cream together butter and sugar on high for a few minutes, add one egg at a time, continuing to mix and then vanilla. Add flour ½ cup at a time, then add apples, nits, raisins and coconut until all ingredients are mixed together well. It is a very dense cake and the mixing takes a few minutes because of the thick batter. Bake for 1 hour at 350º in prepared bundt pan.

¼ cup milk
1 stick butter

Combine ingredients into skillet and stir until bubbly and thickens. Pour immediately over cake after cake is plated.

Put pieces of parchment or wax paper around edges of cake before plating. Pull out pieces of paper after topping sets to leave your plate neat.
