Ingredients:
1 oz prepared pot
4 cubes Earth Balance butter

Directions:
Directions:
Place prepared pot into a nut bag *

(We grind buds and sugar leaves together, and measure into 1 oz baggies. They are stored in the freezer to preserve freshness.)

Submerge nut bag with pot, into simmering water for 3 minutes.

Rinse with cold water and squeeze water out. This step helps remove excess 'earthy' flavor from the final baked good.

Prepare a double boiler. In top pan, place the squeezed pot with 4 cups Earth Balance. Bring to simmer.

Simmer about 3 hours. The butter will take on an amber color.

Pour butter/pot liquid through the nut bag to strain. Discard pot.

Chill pot butter, and use like regular butter in recipes.

Cookies/baked goods need to bake at a low tempature. Cookies - 300-325.

If not using right away, store in the freezer.

* nut bags are used as 'strainers' when making nut milk. They work great to strain pot as well. I found my last one on Amazon.
