Ingredients:  
½ lb brown sugar
½ lb butter, softened
4 lg eggs
½ lb raisins
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp mace
7 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients together. Add in dry ingredients. Mix until combined. Stir in raisins. Chill dough. Roll very thin. Cut using cookie cutter. Nanny Allen always used a circle cutter. Bake at 350º for 5 minutes.

Notes: Baking time will vary depending on thickness of cookie. Beware - this recipe makes a lot of cookies!!
