1 can applesauce
4 eggs
1 c shortening
1 2/3 c sugar
4 c flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 c chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Beat together applesauce, eggs, shortening and sugar.
Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Add dry ingredients to the wet and beat well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
