1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
2-3/4 cups flour
1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Beat together butter and sugars on medium -high speed for 2 minutes until mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla and baking soda for 1 minute on low speed. Gradually beat in flour and salt. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350ºF for 11 to 13 minutes until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely. Yield: About 5 dozen.
