3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Cream butter and sugar. Mix egg and vanilla, then molasses.

Add mixed day ingredients.

Make balls, roll in sugar. If too soft, refrigerate or add more flour.

Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.
