1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of shortening
1/2 cup of margarine
1 egg
2 tsp. of milk
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. of salt
2 1/2 cups of plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Cream sugar, shortening and margarine.
Mix in egg, milk and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and roll
into balls. Place on cookie sheet pan. Dip bottom of glass into white sugar
and press cookie ball, slightly.

Optional: May add cinnamon with sugar to taste like a Snickerdoodle cookie.
