6-8 medium size peeled potatoes sliced thinly
1 cube butter (1/2 cup)
1/2 to 1 cup flour
Salt
Pepper
Onion powder
2 cups Cheddar cheese grated
1 quart milk

Directions:
Directions:
9x13 pan, grease liberally with butter
Single Layer sliced potatoes on bottom of pan
Season each layer with salt, pepper, onion powder
Sprinkle flour over each potato layer
Dot with small pieces of butter
Cover with grated cheese
Continue each layer until all potatoes have been used
Pour milk over entire casserole until covers top layer
Press down on layers firmly
Top with butter and cheese

Bake at 350º for 90 minutes or until potatoes are soft
Let set for few minutes before serving

Made the mistake of trying to skimp on butter to make dish healthier. Not the same. Make it and enjoy with all it's buttery, cheesy goodness!
