For tomato sauce:
2 cups seeded, coarsely chopped fresh tomatoes, OR 1½ cans diced tomatoes
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
1 cup firmly packed fresh basil leaves
1 cup firmly packed fresh parsley leaves
3 TBSP freshly grated Parmesan
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 pound linguine

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients except linguine in food processor. Blend well. Let sauce sit at room temp, covered for an hour. Pour the sauce into a large skillet or wok and gently heat while pasta is cooking.

In a large pot, bring 5 quarts salted water to boil. Add linguine, stir well. Return to boil and cook until pasta is al dente, about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain pasta well. Add pasta to warmed sauce, toss well, and garnish with fresh parsley and extra fresh grated cheese.
