Butter Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:

MIX IN BOWL (until fluffy) Bake at 400º

1 c butter
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
2 T orange juice
1 tsp vanilla

GRADUALLY STIR IN:
1-1/4 c flour

Chill 2 to 3 hours in refridgerator until firm enough to roll out with rolling pin.

Roll our 1/2 of the dough at a time on a floured board until 1/8" to 1/4" thick.
Cut with your cookie cutters, sharp edge down and place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake @ 400º 6 to 10 minutes until edges of cookie are light brown.

Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire rack.

When cool, use icing for decorating by spreading evenly over whole cookie and applying sugar crystals or use icing bag and tips for outline details, facial features.
 

Sugar Glaze Recipe

4 tsp light corn syrup
4 tsp milk

Ingredients:

MIX

3 c confectioners sugar
1/3 c butter
1 to 2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
