1 stick of butter
1 clove minced garlic
1 pint heavy cream
1 cup fresh parmesan cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper1pkg pasta (penne or fettucine)
1-1 1/2 lb chicken or shrimp


Directions:

Make pasta as directed on box. Drain well.
Season chicken/shrimp with salt and pepper and cook in separate nonstick skillet. Set aside.
In a sauce pan over medium heat, melt butter and add garlic and cook for two minutes, then add in heavy cream and cream cheese and heat until bubbling, but do not boil.
Add in parmesan cheese and mix until cheese melts.
Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Pour alfredo sauce onto pasta and coat noodles with sauce. Add chicken/shrimp.
