1½ cups sugar

6 cups boiling water

Red Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar to a bowl or a heat resistant pitcher, add boiled water and stir until sugar is completely dissolved

Add drops of red food coloring until color is a nice bright red.

Once cooled, pour into a hummingbird feeder.

Store unused portion in refrigerator until feeder is ready to fill again. I fill mine about 1 x week at least.

I love watching the hummingbirds in my yard. They are very territorial and have some pretty funny antics to keep others away, but don't blink...or you'll miss the little buggers as they are very fast!
