1 c. butter, softened
½ c. confectioners sugar
2 ¼ c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
¾ c. walnuts or pecans, finely chopped
Confectioners sugar for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400º.
2. Cream the butter adding sugar gradually until light and fluffy.
3. Stir in flour, vanilla, and walnuts or pecans.
4. Roll in hands into 1" balls, place on an ungreased baking sheet.
5. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes.

Remove from oven and while still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
