1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1 whole chicken cut up
2/3 c. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Place buttermilk in a shallow dish. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bag. Dip chicken in buttermilk. Place one or two pieces at a time in bag and shake to coat. In a deep frying pan, heat oil to 375º and add chicken pieces and cook, turning frequently, until brown and crisp. 20-25 mins. Drain on paper towels before serving.
